Mobile (HCX) - Planner

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for moving courses to a planner within the Mobile application.

Audience: Students.

The college mobile applications will look a bit different between the various colleges. This guide is intended as a general overview. Please note that your college may have different images and options available.  

Planner

  1. After logging into HCX, select the Enrollment menu from the sidebar navigation.

  1. The Enrollment menu expands.
  2. Select the Planner menu item.

  1. The Planner page displays to the right.
  2. Select the Add Course button.

  1. The Course Catalog page displays.
  2. Choose a subject and select the View Courses button.

  1. The ACCT& subject page displays with all related courses.
  2. Choose a course and select the Add to Planner button.

  1. Select the Planner menu item again to refresh the page and view the added course.
  2. Notice it is in an Unassigned status.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the course.
  4. Select the Move Selected button.

  1. A Move Selected Courses pop-up window displays.
  2. Choose a term from the Move To: drop-down menu.
  3. Select the Move button.

  1. A pop-up window confirms the move.  This window will automatically close.
  2. The Planner page is updated and displays the new term that the course was moved to.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the course.
  4. Select the Add to Cart button.

  1. The Add to Cart page displays available classes for this course.  Select one of the scheduled class sections.  From here you can add to the cart by two methods:
    1. Select the Additional Actions icon located on the right side of the row (three vertical dots) and select the Add to Cart menu item, or
    2. Select the course row to expand and open the Class Information details.  Scroll down near the bottom and select the Add to Cart button.

  1. A confirmation message displays confirming the class is now in the shopping cart.
  2. The Enrollment options pop-up window displays.
  3. Select the Save button.

  1. A confirmation pop-up message will display and automatically close.
  2. Select the Shopping Cart from the left sidebar navigation.
  3. The Shopping Cart now displays the newly added class.

  1. You have successfully viewed the Planner, added a course to it and moved it to the Shopping Cart.
  2. Process complete.
