Student Self-Service: Managing Personal Information

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for how to view, enter, and update personal information in ctcLink.

Audience: Students

Personal Information

Navigation:  Gateway → Student Center

Use links and the drop-down menu in the Personal Information section to update contact information and other student data. Selecting a link will take students into a Personal Information sub-menu to view and update information.

Editing Contact Information

  1. Click the other personal… drop-down menu.
  2. Select the Email Addresses option.

Note: Any option selected will take you to the Personal Information tab as shown below.

  1. Click the Go button.

  1. Use the Add an Email Address and Delete buttons to modify the information.
  2. Click the Preferred checkbox to indicate the preferred email address.
  3. Click the Save button.
  4. To change addresses or phone numbers, select the tab for this activity and follow the instructions.

Demographic Data

Click the demographic information tab to view information such as your SSN. Please contact your college directly to update this type of data.

Ethnicity information can be updated by making selections on the Ethnicity tab and clicking the Submit button.
