Assigning Recruiters to a Group of Prospects 02b, 02j

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for adding recruiters to groups of prospects in ctcLink.

Audience: ctcLink Employees

Navigation: Main Menu > Student Recruiting > Assign Recruiters > Recruiter Assignment

To add a recruiter to a group of prospects:

  1. On the Recruiter Assignment page, click the Add a New Value tab.
  2. On the Add a New Value tab, enter a Run Control ID.
  3. Click the Add button.

  1. On the General Selection Crit tab, enter the general selection criteria. These will be used to define the processing rules when the process is run.
    a. Use the Institution field to enter the academic institution for this prospect group.
    b. Enter the desired information into the Last School Attended field.
  1. Enter the desired information into the Academic Career field.
  2. Click the Academic Selection Crit tab.
    a.  Enter the desired information into the Admit Term field (e.g. 2147 for Fall 2014).
    b.  Enter the desired information into the Admit Type field (e.g. FYR for First Year student).
    c.  Enter the desired information into the Campus field (e.g. MAIN for Main Campus).
    d.  If applicable, select the desired value from Acad Load list items.
    e.  If applicable, select the desired value from Acad Level list items.
  1. Click the Prog/Plan Selection Crit tab.
    a.  Enter the desired information into the Academic Program field
    b.  Enter the desired information into the Campus field.
    c.  Enter the desired information into the Academic Plan field.
  1. Click the Acad Interests Selection Crit tab.
  2. Enter the academic interest information in the Subject Area field (e.g. COMP for Computer Science).
    a.  To add additional subject area, click the plus sign to the right of the row.
    b.  To delete a subject area, click the minus sign to the right of the row.

  1. Click the Assignment Criteria tab.
  2. Enter the criteria for the recruiters who will be assigned to this group of prospects.
    a.  Click on anoption from Region Categories group box (e.g. Address).
    b.  Enter the desired information into the Category field (e.g. ABES for Adult Basic Education).
    c.  Select the desired value from Sub-Cat list items (e.g. High).
    d.  Enter the desired information into the Recruiter ID field (e.g. 101002890).
    e.  Click the Primary option if you want to assign more than one recruiter to this group of prospects, but want this recruiter to be the primary recruiter.
    f.  To add an additional recruiter, click the plus sign to the right of the row.
    g.  To delete a recruiter, click the minus sign to the right of the row.
  3. You will now need to Run the Recruiter Assignment process just as you would any Process Scheduler process.

Congratulations! You have set the Recruiter Assignment process to select a group of prospects according to your criteria and to assign the specified recruiters to each prospect in that group.
