Entering Events 11i

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for entering event information in ctcLink.

Audience: College Staff responsible for maintaining student information.

Navigation:  Main Menu → Campus Community → Campus Event Planning → Event Management → Events

  1. On the Events page, click the Add a New Value tab.
  2. Click the Add button.

Note: The Event ID defaults to all zeroes. Do not change this number. When the event data is saved, the system will assign an ID.

  1. Enter the required fields (*) for the event data.

  1. Click the Save button.
  2. Click the Event Template tab.

  1. If resources are already associated with this event, can click the Copy All button to copy meeting, resources, and staff information into the template. If no resources are associated, enter the information manually. Most of the fields require at least setup of the resource codes.
  2. If this is the primary meeting for this event, check the Primary Mtg box.

  1. To add additional meetings, resources, or staff, click the plus sign(+) at the right of the To Meetings, To Resources, or To Staff sections and enter the appropriate data. To delete an item, click the minus sign.
  2. Click the Save button.
  3. To notify people of this event, click the Notify button.
  4. Complete the Send Notification form.
