Purpose: Use this document as a reference for processing other credit in ctcLink

Audience: Transfer Credit Evaluator

Processing Other Credit

Navigation: Main Menu > Records and Enrollment > Transfer Credit Evaluation > Other Credits - Manual

  1. On the Other Credits page, click on the Add a New Value tab and enter information into the following fields:
    1. ID
    2. Academic Career
    3. Academic Institution (should default)
  2. Click the Add button.
  1. On the Other Credit Detail tab, enter information into the following fields:
    1. Transcript Level
    2. Academic Program
    3. Academic Plan (optional)
    4. Articulation Term
  2. Click the Edit Equivalent Course icon
  1. On the Equivalent Course Information page in the Other Credit section, enter information into the following fields:
    1. Other Credit
    2. Long Description
    3. Other Credit Type
    4. Evaluation Date
  2. On the Equivalent Course Information page in the Equivalent Course section, enter information into the following fields:
    1. Course ID (this will auto-populate most of the rest of the fields)
    2. Official Grade
    3. Include in FA WI Stats
  3. Click the OK button.
  1. The status will change to Accepted.
  2. On the Other Credit by Term tab, click Calculate to add this course to the student’s transfer credit statistics and click Post to post the credit to the student’s record.
  1. The status will change to Posted.
  2. Click the Save button.You have successfully Processed Other Credit – Manual.
