Step Action
1. In this exercise, you will use the Quick Enroll component to enroll a student in classes and post the enrollment transaction.
2. Begin by navigating to the Quick Enrollment page.

Click the Records and Enrollment link.
3. Click the Enroll Students link.
4. Click the Quick Enroll a Student link.
5. Click in the ID field.
6. Enter the desired information into the ID field.

For example, enter a valid value e.g. "101000000".
7. Click the Look up button next to the Academic Institution field.
8. Click your Academic Institution code.

For example, click the WA171 link for Spokane Community College.
9. Click in the Academic Career field.
10. Enter the desired information into the Academic Career field.

For example, enter a valid value e.g. "CNED".
11. Click in the Term field.
12. Enter the desired information into the Term field.

For example, enter a valid value e.g. "2083"

Remember, "2" stands for the millennium, "08" forthe last two numbers in the year, and "3" for the Spring semester. Inother words, 2083 stands for Spring 2008.
13. Click the Add button.
14. Use the Quick Enrollment page to add or update enrollment request transactions for both new and continuing students.
15. Click the Search button.
16. Click the OK button.
17. Click the Show Open Classes Only option.
18. Click the Subject list.
19. Click the Accounting list item.
20. Click the Course Number list.
21. Click the contains list item.
22. Click in the contains greater than or equal to is exactly less than or equal to field.
23. Enter the desired information into the contains greater than or equal to is exactly less than or equal to field. Enter avalid value e.g. "1".
24. Click the Search button.
25. Click the Select button.
26. Accounting 101 Section 3 is added to thestudent's class enrollment.
27. Click the Add Row button.
28. Click the Search button.
29. Click the OK button.
30. Click the Subject list.
31. Click the Business list item.
32. Click the Course Number list.
33. Click the contains list item.
34. Click the Show Open Classes Only option.
35. Click the Course Career list.
36. Click the Continuing Education list item.
37. Click the Search button.
38. Click the Select button.
39. Business 183, Section 1 is now in the student'sclass enrollment list.
40. If the new class includes a lab or recitation,enter the class numbers in the Related 1 field.
41. Use the Related 2 field, if you want to includeanother class that is a lab or recitation.
42. Click the Units and Grade tab.
43. Use the Unitsand Grade tab to enter the final class grade for the student and to enterany necessary repeat codes.
44. Click the Other Class Info tab.
45. Use the Other Class Info tab to enter any permissions numbers and to set up an automaticdrop from another class when the student is successfully enrolled in thisclass.
46. Click the General Overrides tab.
47. Use the General Overrides tab to override various enrollment rules.

Only overrides that you are authorized to access are available. 
48. Click the Class Overrides tab.
49. Use the Class Overrides tab to override class specific enrollment rules.

Only overrides that you are authorized to access are available. 
50. Click the Class Enrollment tab.
51. Using the links at the bottom of the page, you can access various enrollment-related pages. 
52. Click the Submit button.
53. Verify that the status for each class is Success.
54. If you see an Errors link, click the link to see more details.
55. This error is most likely due to trying to enroll the student in a class that is NOT from continuing education.
56. To fix this, redo the search and include Continuing Education in your search.
57. You have completed Quick Enrolling a Student.  You should now be able to quick enroll a student.
