Entering Multiple Actions - 05d

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for how to enter multiple actions in ctcLink.

Audience: Human Resource Specialists

This guide provides a few examples of multiple actions that can be entered. The user is able to add various actions such as Position Change, Retirement, and Leave of Action. The reasons are generated by the actions and may be different based on the selected reason.

Entering Multiple Actions – 1st Action

Navigation:  Main Menu > Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data

  1. Enter the EMPLID into the Empl ID field and click the Search button.
  2. Click on the appropriate Empl ID returned.
  3. Click the Add a Row button.

  1. Change the EffectiveDate if appropriate; today’s date will prefill.
  2. Select Data Change from the Action drop-down menu.
  3. Select Status Change from the Reason drop-down menu.

  1. Click the Job Information tab.
  2. Select Full Time or Part Time item from the Full/Part drop-down menu.

Entering Multiple Actions – 2nd Action

  1. Click the Work Location tab.
  2. Click the Add a Row button.
  3. Enter or change the Effective Date if appropriate.

  1. Select Pay Rate Change from the Action drop-down menu.
  2. Select Merit from the Reason drop-down menu.

  1. Click the Compensation tab.
  2. Adjust the compensation in the Comp Rate field.
  3. Click the Default Pay Components button.
  4. Click the Calculate Compensation button.
  5. Click the Save button.
