Screening Applicants 17c, 17f

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for screening applicants in ctcLink.

Audience: HR Recruiter

Navigation:  Main Menu > Recruiting > Search Job Openings

  1. Enter the position number in the Job ID field.
  2. Click the Search button.
Search Criteria

You may populate as many of the above fields that are applicabe, but at minimum you will need to enter/select the Job Opening ID and the Status.

  1. Click the Job Opening link.

  1. Click the Applicant Screening tab.

  1. Click Screening Level drop-down menu and select Pre-Screening.
  2. Click the Go button, to run the process.
  3. Click the Process Monitor hyperlink, to view the status of the run.
  4. Click the "Manage Job Openings" menu option at the top of your page to return to the Job Opening.
  5. Click the Applicant Screening tab.

  1. Click the Screening Results hyperlink, to view the results of the run.

Notice the Disposition has not changed and the applicants are still in an "Applied" status. The Disposition will change once the results have been applied.

  1. Click Screening Level drop-down menu and select the next level of screening. Repeat steps 6-9, for each level.
  1. Click the Apply Results button.

Warning: A message box will appear to confirm that you are ready to apply the results. CLICK OK.

Note: All results have now been applied and the Disposition has changed from "Applied" to "Screen."

  1. Click the View Rating icon, to view the detailed results.

  1. You can click View All to see the details of each screening level.

  1. Click the Return to Previous Page link.
  2. Click the Applicants tab to review the new status of all screened applicants.

You have successfully screened an applicant!!!
