9.2 OAA International Application without a Fee

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for how to complete an OAA international application without a fee in ctcLink

Audience: Admissions Staff

Navigation: NavBar > Navigation > Ciber Solutions > Online Admissions > Online Admission Application

  1. Enter the User Name and Password.
  2. Select the Login button.
Online Admissions Application
  1. Enter the appropriate information for
    1. Academic Institution
    2. Academic Career
    3. Campus
    4. Academic Program
    5. Admit Type = International
    6. Application Plan
    7. Sub-Plan (Optional)
    8. Term
  2. Select the Continue button.
Academic Data Selection page
  1. On the Application Questionnaire page, select I have been issued a US visa, green card/permanent resident card, I-94 check box.
  2. Select the Continue button.

  1. Select the Bio-Demo Information link on the right side of the landing page.
Online Admissions Application landing page
  1. Validate the data entered in Personal, Phone, Email, and Address Information sections.
  2. Use the Add button to enter additional contact information. Ensure the preferred entry is checked for at least one phone or email type.
  3. Enter or look up Birth Country.
  4. In the Citizenship Information section, select the appropriate Country = "USA" and Citizenship Status = "Alien Temporary".
  5. Select the Save button.
  6. Select the High School/College link.
Bio-Demo Information page
  1. In the High School Attended section, select the Find My School link.

  1. Search and select a school.
School Search page
  1. Select the appropriate dates in the Attended From Date and the Attended To Date field.
  2. Select value for highest level of completion when you begin college question.
  3. In the College Attended section, enter data as needed. (optional)
    1. Select the Find My College link to search and select applicable school.
    2. Select the appropriate dates in the Attended From Date and the Attended To Date field.
  4. Select the Save button.
  5. Select the Relationship Information section.
    1. (This section is optional by college, if your college template does not include this section skip to step 23.)
  6. Enter Relationship Information, Country of Citizenship, Contact and Address Information for at least one dependent.
  7. Select the Save button.
  8. Select the Ethnicity Information link.
High School and College Information page
  1. Answer the questions:
    1. Are you Hispanic or Latino?
    2. What is your race?
    3. Select Ethnic Group where applicable.
  2. Select the Save button.
  3. Select the Test Information link.
    1. (This section is optional by college, if your college template does not include this section skip to step 29.)
Ethnicity Information
  1. Enter Test ID, Test Component, Test Score and Test Date information as available.  
    1. Select the Add button to record additional tests (if applicable).
  2. Select the Save button.
  3. Select the Citizenship/Passport Information link.
  4. In the Citizenship/Passport Information section, select the appropriate Country.
    1. If this information was populated from the Bio-Demo section it should be validated, if not it should be entered.
  5. Select the appropriate Citizenship Status.
    1. If this information was populated from the Bio-Demo section it should be validated.
  6. In the Passport Information section, enter the appropriate information if necessary.
    1. (This section is optional by college, if your college template does not include this section skip to step 33.)
  7. In the VISA Information section, enter the required information for Country and VISA/Permit Type.
    1. Enter all other appropriate information if necessary.
  8. Select the Save button.
  9. Select the Emergency Contact link.
    1. (This section is optional by college, if your college template does not include this section skip to step 37.)
  10. Enter Contact Name, Relationship, Contact Phone and additional details as available.
    1. Select the Add button to include additional contacts.
  11. Select the Supplemental Questions link.
Citizenship/Passport and Visa Information
  1. Answer the Supplemental Questions.
  2. Select the Save button.
  3. Select the Upload Documents link if necessary.
    1. (This section is optional by college, if your college template does not include this section skip to step 48.)

  1. Select Document Type.
  2. Enter a Description.
  3. Select the Browse button.
  4. Select Choose File within in the pop up window.
    1. A windows pop up appears to select the file to upload. Only select valid and accepted file extension documents. Valid extension are DOC,PDF,TXT.
  5. Select a file.
  6. Select the Save button.
  7. Be sure to complete any other informational sections that may have a red diamond in front of them.
  8. Select the Return to Main Menu link.
  9. Select the Submit Application button.
  10. Check the box - Yes, I accept and select the Submit button.

  1. A message stating, "Application Successfully Submitted" will appear.
  2. Select the Application Summary button to verify that the Application Status is "Submitted".
