9.2 OAA Running Start Application without a Fee

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for completing an OAA Running Start application without a fee in ctcLink.

Audience: Admissions Staff

Navigation: Ciber Solutions > Online Admissions > Online Admission Application

  1. Enter the User Name and Password.
  2. Select the Login button.

  1. Enter the appropriate information for:
    1. Academic Institution
    2. Academic Career
    3. Campus
    4. Academic Program
    5. Admit Type = Running Start
    6. Application Plan
    7. Sub-Plan (Optional)
    8. Term
  2. Select the Continue button.
  1. On the Application Questionnaire page, select "None of the above applies to me." check box.
  2. Select the Continue button.

  1. Select the Bio-Demo Information link on the right side of the landing page.
  1. Validate the data entered in the Personal, Phone, Email, and Address Information sections.
    • This information should carry over from when the student created their OAA user account
  2. Use the Add button to enter additional contact information. Ensure the preferred entry is checked for at least one phone or email type.
  3. Select the Save button.
  4. Select the High School/College link.

  1. In the High School Attended section, select the Find My School link.

  1. Search for and select a school.

  1. Select the appropriate dates in the Attended From Date and the Attended To Date fields.
    • If the student will attend your school and their high school concurrently, their approximate graduation date should be entered into the Attended To Date field
  2. Select the appropriate value for the highest level of completion question.
  3. Select the Save button.
  4. Select the Ethnicity Information link.
  1. Answer the Hispanic/Latino background question and select your race.
    • Depending on which box is selected, you may be prompted for additional Ethnic Group information
  2. Select the Save button.
  3. Select the Supplemental Questions link.
  1. Answer the Supplemental Questions.
    • Some responses will populate additional questions
  2. Select the Save button.
  3. Select the Return to Main Menu link.

  1. Select the Submit Application button.
  2. Check the "Yes, I accept" box, and select the Submit button.
  1. A message stating, "Application Submitted Successfully" will appear.
  2. Select the Return to Main Menu button to verify that the application was submitted.
    • Notice how the Submit Application button has disappeared
