9.2 OAAP Waiver Setup

Purpose:  Use this document as a reference for managing waiver setup in the OAAP if your college is charging application fees at time of application submission.

Audience:  Admissions staff.

Manage Waiver Codes

  1. The Admin user will be able to login using the LDAP username and password.
  2. Enter the Username and Password.
  3. Select the Sign In button.
  4. The OAAP Dashboard displays for the Admin.
  5. Select the Institution Setup menu expander.
Select the Institution Setup drop-down list
  1. The Institution Setup sub-menu displays.
  2. Select Waiver Setup.
The Waiver Setup option is available to select
  1. The Colleges Waiver Setup page displays.
  2. Create new college waivers by
    1. selecting Academic Institution,
    2. entering No. of Waiver Codes,  and
    3. selecting Expiration Date.
  3. Select the Add button.
Enter your college's your information
  1. A confirmation window displays.The entered number of waiver codes are added with random codes. These waiver codes can be used by students for fee waivers.
  2. Select the OK button.

  1. To delete a waiver code whose Status = "Not Used" or "Expired," select the corresponding garbage can icon.  Note that only "Not Used" and "Expired" waiver codes can be deleted.

  1. A confirmation window displays.
  2. Select the Yes button.
Are you sure notification --Yes or Cancel
  1. The updated College Waiver Setup page displays.  The deleted waiver code disappears.
  2. Process complete.
