View Retired Assets
Purpose: Use this document to view a retired asset in ctcLink.
Audience: Financial Asset Manager or Facilities Asset Manager
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZD Asset Management Inquiry
If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.
Navigation: Asset Management > Asset Transactions > History > Review Cost
- The Asset Cost History search page displays. Enter Business Unit.
- Enter Asset Identification or add additional search criteria to refine results.
- Optional to search by the Asset Status, such as 'Disposed'.
- Select the Search button.
- The Review Cost page displays. Let's view each available tab:
- Cost History List.
- Cost History Detail.
- Non Cap History List.
- Non Cap History Detail.
The Cost History List page provides the history of an asset's transactions, including assets that have been archived as an ADD transaction. Note the available Cost and Chartfield tabs.
For archived assets, the total cost includes the sum of the costs consolidated into one cost row. Optional to select the row detail link.
The Cost History Detail page displays details such as the Accounting/Transaction dates, category, and cost type.
The Non Cap History List page provides view of the cost list of the non-capitalized asset.
The Non Cap History Detail page provides view of the cost details of the non-capitalized asset.
To view additional assets, select the Previous in List or Next in List buttons located at the bottom of the page.
- Process complete.
