9.2 Entering References (Fluid)

Purpose:  To enter references in self-service ctcLink.

Audience:  Employees.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • Internal Applicant Fluid
  • ZZ HCM Manager
  • ZZ PeopleSoft User

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Use the Job Search page to manage all job search activities, including entering references.

Entering References

Navigation: Home Page > Careers Tile

Careers tile selection
  1. The Careers page displays.
  2. Select the My Job Notifications link.

  1. The My Notifications page displays.
  2. If the recruiting team has requested references, a reference request appears in the Notifications grid.
  3. Select the Please add your references link.

  1. The Applicant References page displays.
  2. Select the Add Reference button.

  1. The Add Reference pagelet displays. Use this page to enter detailed information about the person who will be providing the reference.
  2. Use the Reference Type field to indicate if the person will be providing a personal or professional reference.
  3. Select the Reference Type list and choose the Both item from the drop-down menu.
  4. Enter the name of the person who will be providing the reference into the Reference Name field.
  5. Enter the desired information into the Title field.
  6. Enter the desired information into the Employer field.
  7. Enter the desired information into the Phone field.
  8. Enter the address for the person who will provide the reference (optional).
  9. To save the information for one reference and immediately begin entering information for another, you can select the Save and Add Another button.
  10. Select the Save button.

  1. The Applicant References page displays.
  2. The References grid now includes a row for the reference(s) that you added.
  3. To make changes to the reference, you can select the Edit icon and edit the reference details.
  4. Select the [>] Edit icon for the applicable reference.

  2. Make changes and save, or delete the reference.
  3. Scroll down to select the Delete button.

  1. A confirmation message displays asking if you would like to delete the reference.
  2. Select the OK button.

  1. The Applicant References page displays.
  2. The reference is removed.

  1. The process to enter, edit and remove references is now complete.
  2. End of procedure.
