9.2 Term Shift - CS Core and SF
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for how to update the Term/Session table and Academic Calendar, run Batch Term Activation, maintain Schedule of Classes and update the Term Rollover Checklist for Term shift.

Term/Session Table
Reference the Maintaining the Term/Session Table QRG for step-by-step directions for updating/maintaining the Term/Session table.
Navigation: NavBar > Set Up SACR > Foundation Tables > Term Setup > Term/Session Table
Term Table Tab
- Make the necessary updates to the Term Table page for each impacted term and career.
- Term Begin Date
- Ending Date
- Sixty Percent Point in Time
- Max Program Effdt for Term
- Update all fields within the Display in Self-Service box.
- Enrollment & Shopping Cart
- Begin Date and End Date
- Student Planner
- Begin Date and End Date
- What-If Report - Advisor
- Begin Date and End Date
- What-If Report - Prematriculated Student

Academic Calendar
Reference the Maintaining the Academic Calendar QRG for step-by-step directions for updating/maintaining the Academic Calendar.
Navigation: NavBar > Set Up SACR > Foundation Tables > Term Setup > Academic Calendar
Term Calendar 2 Tab

- Make the necessary updates to the dates on the Term Calendar 2 page based on your institution's policy.

Term Calendar 3 Tab
- Make the necessary updates to the Term Calendar 3 page for each impacted career and term.
- Confer Date
- Census Date
- Fully Enrolled Date
- Show Enrollment on Transcript
- Show Statistics on Transcript
- Fully Graded Date

- Make the necessary updates within the Session Details section of the Session Calendar 1 page for each session.
- Cancel
- Deadline
- Withdraw without Penalty
- Deadline
- Withdraw with Penalty
- Deadline
- Cancel

- Make the necessary updates to the Session Calendar 3 page for each session.
- Drop (Retain Record)
- Deadline
- Drop with Penalty
- Deadline
- Drop (Retain Record)

Batch Term Activation
Reference the Running Batch Term Activation QRG for step-by-step directions for running batch term activation.
Navigation: NavBar > Records and Enrollment > Term Processing > Term Activation > Term Activation Batch Process
- Only re-running to update Term Activation dates to align with new dates on Term/Session.
- On the Selection 1 tab, the Actvtn Term will be the term you want to shift.
- Ensure that the Run Mode is set to Update
- Selection 2 and 3 tabs can be left blank.

- Process Control Tab. The Refresh Term Cntrl Dates field should be set to Yes.
Maintain Schedule of Classes
Reference the Maintain Schedule of Classes QRG for step-by-step directions for updating/maintaining Schedule of Classes.
Navigation: NavBar > Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > Maintain Schedule of Classes
- Make the necessary updates to the Start/End Date within the Class Sections area of the Basic Data page for each section.

- Make the necessary updates to the Start/End Date within the Meeting Patterns area of the Meetings page for each impacted meeting pattern.

Term Rollover Checklist
Note: Best practices suggest completing the term rollover checklist to doublecheck there are not other areas that are date specific.
Reference the Term Rollover Checklist QRG for step-by-step directions for updating/maintaining Term Rollover.
SACR > Product Related> Student Financials> Charges and Payments > SF Term Default
- Verify dates within the Term Default page are accurate.
