9.2 Modifying Award F&A Rates
Purpose: Use this document to update or change the F&A Rate for an existing Grant Award.
Audience: Finance/Grant Manager.
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZC Awards Processing
- ZZ Awards Processing
If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.
Navigation: NavBar > Navigator > Grants > Awards > Project Activity
- The Project Activity search page will display.
- Enter your Business Unit.
- Enter the specific Project.
- Select Search.
Be sure to update every Project that is associated with the Award's F&A Rate changes.

- The Search Results will display.
- Select the Search Results link.
If your Project has multiple activities with F&A Rates, be sure to update each Activity.

- The General Information page will display.
- Select the FA Rates tab.

- The FA Rates tab will display.
- In the Funded section, select the plus icon to add a new row.
- Add a new Effective Date for the new rate.
- Add the new Funded Rate.
- Select Save.

- Process complete.
