9.2 Add BioDemo Parent for PLUS Loans

Purpose:  Use this document as a reference on how to add the bio/demo information for the parent using ctcLink.

Audience: Financial Aid staff.

Add BioDemo Parent

Navigation:  NavBar > Navigator > Financial Aid > Loans > Direct Lending Management > Manage Direct Loan Application

  1. The Direct Loan App search page displays.
  2. Enter the ID.
  3. Enter the Academic Institution.
  4. Enter the Aid Year.
  5. Select the Search button.

  1. On the Application Bio/Demo tab, enter the Parent’s ID in the Borrower ID field.
  2. Verify that the parent’s information correctly auto-populates in the Borrower Information section.  
  3. Select the Save button.

After the parent bio/demo information and relationship are established, the parent information must be added to the student’s Direct Loan origination application.
