HCM: Local Configuration - Talent Acquisition Management (TAM)

This document contains the configuration decisions made and values to be used in deployment of Talent Acquisition Management Module of Oracle’s PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 application.  As such, all additional documentation must be in agreement with the related items described herein.  Should conflict arise with information contained in another document, the data in this document shall be considered valid and that of the other shall be deemed incorrect.

Talent Acquisition Management Configuration Guide explains necessary tables needed to setup Talent Acquisition Management in the PeopleSoft system.  The order of the configuration tables presented in this document adheres to the table setup sequence required to successfully set up all tables.

This configuration is dependent upon Core Human Resource Structure setup being completed.

This document provides implementation and processing information for PeopleSoft HR Talent Acquisition Management system.

Recruitment Contacts

Define recruitment sources. Recruitment contacts may be entered by SBCTC Global to accommodate the requirements from the various schools.  Please note that the contacts mainly pertain to 3rd party integration associations.

Site

Define the details of an online application job site for candidates. The PeopleSoft delivered values for Candidate Gateway Site will be utilized in conjunction with specific entity input.  A site will be configured for each entity.

Recruiting Locations

Define the recruiting locations shown to job seekers on various job postings.  The recruiting locations help identify the logical mainly geographic location where a job may be located.  The recruiting locations are associated to HR location codes within the system.

Teams

Set up recruiting teams. Recruiting teams provide an easy to select group of individual hiring team members.  These are made available to the users creating and maintaining job opening data.

Interview Types

Define values available for designation of interview types or phases. The PeopleSoft delivered values for Interview Types will be used. Additional values will be entered by SBCTC Global to accommodate the requirements from the various schools.

Interview Evaluation Category

Define categories of criteria against which interviewers will rate applicants. The PeopleSoft delivered values for Evaluation Category will be used. Additional values will be entered by SBCTC Global to meet their business requirements for the various schools.

The interview evaluation template houses the logical combination of interview types, categories and ratings making up single school’s interview approach.

Approval Workflow

Define workflow approval process stages. The approval workflow associates within TAM to the Job Opening and Job Offer process.  Each school will have unique or local approval workflow that pertains to the entity.
