View Asset Accounting Entries

Purpose:  Use this document as a reference for reviewing asset accounting entries in ctcLink.

Audience:  Financial Asset Manager, Facilities Asset Manager.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZD Asset Management Inquiry
  • ZZ Asset Entry

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

After creating accounting entries, you can use the Review Financial Entries component to review the associated accounting entry detail for each asset.

Reviewing Asset Accounting Entries

Navigation: Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Review Financial Entries

  1. The Asset Accounting Entries search page displays.  
  2. If it did not default, enter or select the appropriate business unit in the Business Unit field.
  3. Enter the asset information in the Asset Identification field.
  4. Optional to enter any other information in the Search Criteria to refine your results.
  5. Select the Search button and select from results.

List Tab

The Review Financial Entries List page displays.  Use it to review accounting financial entries in a summary list format for the selected asset. If necessary, select the show next row icon to view additional accounting lines.

To view additional information, select the Accounting Lines, ChartFields, and Journal tabs.

Detail Tab

Select the Detail to review accounting financial entries in detail. Select the show next row icon to progress through each accounting financial entry.
