Enrollment Requirements (Fluid)

Purpose:  Use this document as a reference for creating enrollment requirements via Fluid navigation in ctcLink.

Audience:  Student Services staff.

Enrollment Requirements

Navigation:  ctcLink CS Staff Homepage > Curriculum Management Tile

  1. The Curriculum Management page displays.
  2. Expand the Enrollment Requirements menu on the left.
  3. Select the Enrollment Requirements sub-menu.
  4. The Enrollment Requirements search page displays on the right.
  5. Select the Add a New Value tab.
  6. Allow Academic Requirement to default to "000000000".  ctcLink assigns a unique and permanent identifier after you create and save your enrollment requirement.
  7. Select Add.
  8. The Enrollment Requirement tab displays.
  9. Enter Effective Date = "01/01/1901".  The effective date must be equal to or less than the effective date of the course to which this course requisite is attached. This value is automatically assigned the current system date but should be changed as necessary.
  10. Enter Status = "Active".
  11. Enter/Select the desired data in the following fields:
    • Requirement Name
    • Short Description
    • Description
    • Report Description
    • Report Long Description
    • Report Long Description
    • Academic Institution
  12. Select the Parameters tab.
  1. The Parameters tab displays.
  2. Enter any details that apply to all lines defined in the requirement  All fields on this page are optional.  
    • Minimum GPA
    • Minimum Units
    • Minimum Courses
    • Minimum Grade Points/Unit
  3. Select the Line Item tab.
  1. The Line Item tab displays.
  2. Input the Line Item(s) for the requirement
    • Line Type
    • Line Name
    • Description
    • Report Description
    • Report Long Description
  3. Select the Add a New Row [+] icon to create additional line items.
  4. Select the Line Item Parameters tab.
  1. The Line Item Parameters tab displays.
  2. For each Line Item entered in step 14 above set the following parameters (as needed).
    • Minimum GPA
    • Minimum Units
    • Minimum Courses
    • Maximum Units Allowed
    • Maximum Courses Allowed
    • Min Grade Points/Unit
  3. Select the Line Item Detail tab.
  4. The Line Item Detail tab displays.
  5. Line Item Details fields will be variable based on the Line Type selected in previous step.  Enter fields as available for each line item.
  6. Select Save.
  7. To add this Enrollment Requirement to an Enrollment Requirement Group, please refer to the Enrollment Requirement Groups (Fluid) QRG.

Process complete.
