9.2 Refund a Deceased Student's Account

Purpose:  Use this document to refund a deceased student's account in ctcLink.  Follow the included steps  to view descriptions and to be linked to process directions.

Audience:  SF Staff, CS Staff, Student Services

1.  Mark the student's account as deceased.

This first step is to update ctcLink with a deceased status.

2.  Add person to which refund is issued.

This second step is for finding or creating an account to which the deceased student's credit balance may be delivered.

3.  Connect person to student and process refund to print.

This third and final step is for connecting the deceased student's account to the account to whom the refund should be sent (this account is called a sponsor.)
