UAT EC.002 - CampusCE - Enrollment/Payment [Sprint 2] (Project Archive)

User Acceptance Test Overview

The information below is intended to provide colleges guidance on performing a User Acceptance Test on the CampusCE business process. The business process shown in the flow diagrams below may be only part of what is needed to complete an end-to-end test of a full business cycle. Coordination with other colleagues at your college in advance of commencing testing is key to success. In the same way that it doesn't take a single individual to operate the business of running a college it will require coordination across departments to successfully test a business flow from beginning to end.

Data Scenarios for End-to-End High Level Flow (Tier 1)

The following 'End-to-End' data scenarios need to be tested as part of this process:

  • Create multiple student test accounts in CampusCE.
  • Use CampusCE student test accounts to enroll students in classes and pay.
  • Review status of students in PeopleSoft and resolve issues.

How does OKTA Apply to this test set?

CampusCE Access for College Administrators takes place in the CampusCE application.  This access would have been arranged with the service team at CampusCE.  There is NO interface linking your "CampusCE College Admin" access to your "ctcLink" access.  OKTA is not involved in the login process to the CampusCE application.

The FIRST time you login to the User Acceptance Test environment (UAX) you MUST register your OKTA account.  Use this guide to perform that First Step!
