9.2 Extracting Time and Labor Costs

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for extracting time and labor costs in ctcLink.

Audience:  Payroll Administrators.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • <there are no college-grantable roles>

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

After loading time and labor payable time into Payroll for North America, and running the Pay Calculation and Pay Confirmation processes, time and labor costs can be extracted from Payroll for North America into Time and Labor using the Process Scheduler.

Extracting Time and Labor Costs

Navigation:  NavBar > Navigate > Payroll for North America > Payroll Distribution > Additional Integrations > Time and Labor Cost Extract

  1. The Time and Labor Cost Extract search page displays.
  2. Enter an existing Run Control ID or select the Add a New Value tab and create a new Run Control ID.
  3. Select the Add button.

  2. Enter the appropriate Pay Run ID.
  3. Select the On-Cycle radio button.
  4. Select the Run button.

  1. The Process Scheduler Request page displays.
  2. Select the OK button.

  2. Make note of the Process Instance number.
  3. Select the Process Monitor link.

  1. The Process Monitor page displays.
  2. Select the Refresh button until the Run Status field is Success and the Distribution Status field is Posted.
  3. Select Save if applicable.

  1. The process to extract time and labor costs is now complete.
  2. End of procedure.
