Entering Honors and Awards

Purpose: Use this document to enter honors and awards for an individual in ctcLink.

Audience: Student Services Staff.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZC CC Personal Info Student
  • ZD CC Personal Info Student
  • ZD CC Super user
  • ZZ CC Pers Info NID Update
  • ZZ CC Personal Info Student

You must also set these SACR Security permissions:

If you need assistance with the above security roles or SACR settings, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access

Use the Honors and Awards page to enter information about an individual's honors or awards.  

Access to the Honors and Awards page is available via the ZZ CC Personal Info Student security role.

Navigation:  Campus Community > Personal Information (Student) > Participation Data (Student) > Accomplishments > Honors and Awards

  1. The Honors and Awards search page displays.
  2. Enter the desired information into the ID field.
  3. Select the Search button.
  4. The Honors and Awards page displays.
  5. Select the Internal/External list and choose the desired item from the drop down menu.
    • Your selection will specify whether the honor or award was received from within or outside of your institution
  6. Enter the desired information into the Date Recvd (Date Received) field.
    • This field defaults to the current system date, but can be changed if needed
  7. Select the Academic Institution list and choose the desired item from the drop down menu.
    • The system displays the academic institution of the student, unless the student has more than one, in which case you must select the relevant institution
  8. Enter the desired information into the Honor/Award field.
    • You will select the type of honor or award that was received. The available honors and awards are from the Honors/Awards Table page
    • If you do not know the appropriate honor/award abbreviation code, you may select the magnifying glass icon to look it up
  9. Select the Save button.
    • When you save the page, the Formal Description and Grantor fields populate based on the value entered in the Honor/Award field
  1. If the student has more than one honor/award, select the Add a New Row button.
  2. The new row displays.
  3. Enter the desired information into the Date Recvd field.
    • This field defaults to the current system date, but can be changed if needed
  4. Enter the desired information into the Honor/Award field.
    • You will select the type of honor or award that was received. The available honors and awards are from the Honors/Awards Table page
    • If you do not know the appropriate honor/award abbreviation code, you may select the magnifying glass icon to look it up
  5. Select the Save button.
