9.2 Pell Upload/Download Process

Purpose:  To run the Pell upload/download process in ctcLink.

Audience:  Financial Aid staff.

This QRG demonstrates how to upload and download files to save for COD processing.

Pell Upload/Download Process

Upload Process

Navigation:  NavBar > Navigator > PeopleTools > CTC Custom > Extensions > Upload/Download Files

  1. The File Upload/Download search page displays.
  2. Enter the Academic Institution.
  3. Enter the Functional Area.
  4. Enter the Business Process Name.
  5. Select the Search button.

  1. The Upload Files tab displays.
  2. Select Upload File button.

  1. The File Attachment pagelet displays.
  2. Select the Browse button for the Pell COD Response file on the computer.

  1. A new window displays available files to choose from.
  2. Select the appropriate file name from the computer.  Select the Open button.
  3. The File Attachment pagelet displays.
  4. The file name is now populated.  Select the Upload button.
  5. The process to upload a file is now complete.

Download Process

Navigation:  NavBar > Navigator > PeopleTools > CTC Custom > Extensions > Upload/Download Files

  1. The File Upload/Download search page displays.
  2. Enter the Academic Institution.
  3. Enter the Functional Area.
  4. Enter the Business Process Name.
  5. Select the Search button.

  1. The Upload Files tab displays.
  2. Select the Download Files tab.
  3. The Download Files tab displays.
  4. Enter the File Name.
  5. Select the Download File button.

The file name needs to be the EXACT same file name you created during the Pell Outbound process.

  1. A new computer window displays to select what folder to save the file to.
  2. Select the preferred file location on the computer.
  3. Select the Save button.  
  4. The process to upload and download Pell data is now complete.
  5. End of procedure.
