9.2 Assigning Self Service Access
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for how to Assign Self Service to a student in ctcLink.
Audience: FA Counselor/Technician.
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZD FA Director
- ZD FA Student Aid Info
- ZZ FA Student Aid Info
If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.
Assigning Self Service
Navigation: NavBar > Navigator > Financial Aid > View Packaging Status Summary
- The Packaging Status Summary search page displays.
- Enter the student ID.
- Enter the Academic Institution.
- Enter the Aid Year.
- Select Search.
- The Packaging Status Summary page displays.
- Locate the Self Service fields.
- Use the drop-down menu next to Awarding Access to activate a student’s FA self-service.
- Select Use Filter Options.
- Check Inquiry Access.
- Select Save.
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZC CC Personal Info Student
- ZD CC Personal Info Student
- ZD CC Super user
- ZZ CC Pers Info NID Update
- ZZ CC Personal Info Student
- ZZ SS Advisor
- ZZ SS Faculty
If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.
- The Student Services Center shows how FA will be available to a student for viewing.
- Navigation: NavBar > Navigation > Campus Community > Student Services Ctr (Student)
- The Student Service Center search page displays.
- Enter the Student ID.
- Select Search.
- The Student Center page displays for the selected student.
- Select the View Financial Aid link.
- The View Financial Aid page displays.
- Listed below are screenshots of Before and After access was provided.
- Process complete.
