9.2 Run Custom Primary Job Update

Purpose:  Use this document to run a custom primary job update in ctcLink.

Audience:  Payroll Specialists.

Run the Custom Primary Job Update

Navigation:  NavBar > Navigator > Payroll for North America > CTC Custom > CTC Processes > Primary Job Flag Update

  1. The Primary Job Flag Update search page displays.
  2. Enter or select the desired Run Control ID.
  3. Select the Search button.
  4. The Primary Job Flag Update page displays.
  5. Select or enter the Company and Pay End Date.
  6. Select the Save button.
  7. Select the Run button.

  1. The Process Scheduler Request pagelet displays.
  2. Select the OK button.

  1. The Primary Job Flag Update page displays.
  2. Make note of the Process Instance number.
  3. Select the Process Monitor link.

  1. The Process Monitor page displays.
  2. Select the Refresh button until the Run Status is Success and the Distribution Status is Posted.
  3. Select the Details link.

  1. The Process Detail pagelet displays.
  2. Select the View Log/Trace link.

  1. Select the *.log file.
  2. Research and resolve any messages displayed in log.
File list
  1. The process to run the custom primary job update is now complete.
  2. End of procedure.
