Chapter
Clicking a manual title or tile displays the manual’s table of contents, which includes chapters. Each chapter can contain one or more articles (QRGs), helping to organize content into logical sections within the manual.
- Locate the Search Bar. At the top of the Reference Center, find the search bar.
-
Enter Keywords. Type in a few keywords related to your topic, just like you would when using Google. Example: To find guidance on maintaining a student program plan, type "program plan."
💡Using wildcard features like % or * can help broaden your search by allowing you to find QRGs that match partial keywords or phrases. This makes it easier to locate relevant content even if you don't know the exact title or wording of the QRG.
- View Search Results. A list of matching articles will appear. Click on an article title to view its content.
- Enter Keywords: In the search bar at the top of the page, type in the relevant keyword(s) for the topic you're looking for (e.g., "errors").
- Click Search: Select the blue Search 🔍 button to begin the search.
- Use Filter Search Results: On the left-hand side of the page, under Filter Search Results, you can narrow your search by selecting specific manuals or categories.
- Select a Manual: Check the box next to a manual or category you want to search within (e.g., "Finance," "Campus Solutions," or "Continuing Education"). Select the search bar's Search 🔍 button.
- View Search Results: The right side of the screen will refresh to show results based only on the selected manual(s) and your search keywords.
- Click a Result: Click the title of a listed result to view the guide or reference document.
