PAW Accounts Receivable Information
We are launching the next Process Alignment Task Force on Accounts Receivable.
Our first step is to gather preliminary information from the colleges to identify nominees for the task force dedicated to this process.
To spark systemwide interest, a Call for Nominations announcement was sent to listservs via SBCTC IT-Mail.
That message stated that anyone interested in being formally nominated should reach out to you, their ctcLink College Leader!
Action Required from ctcLink College Leaders
We invite submissions from the ctcLink College Leader (Point-of-Contact) from each college district as well as the SBCTC agency.
- The form consists of two process-related questions, as well as sections for institution and nominee information. It should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
- You may nominate multiple individuals from your college, but no college will have more than one person from their district represented on the task force.
- Individuals may nominate themselves or others with the support of supervisors/college leadership, but they need to coordinate this with you, as your college’s official ctcLink Point of Contact.
- The nomination form will not be shared systemwide; it is only being shared with you, ctcLink College Leaders.
PLEASE COMPLETE: Accounts Receivable PAW Task Force Nomination Form
Due date: Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 5 p.m.
Task force membership will be announced the following week with an initial orientation/kickoff meeting shortly thereafter.
Task Force Detail
The task force will be composed of a small group of 8 to 12 members working on behalf of all 34 colleges. We aim to ensure the following characteristics are represented within the team:
- Finance staff involved in Accounts Receivable processing
- Finance staff involved in general accounting
- Staff with a general understanding of AR processes and how they fit with a wider dynamic system (systems thinker)
- Staff with knowledge of policy or compliance requirements that impact AR processes
- Staff involved in managing local ctcLink Accounts Receivable training
- Colleges of varying size (small, medium, large) and types (technical, community)
What’s expected?
- Task force kickoff meeting and orientations will be held in November 2026. The task force members will agree on a weekly meeting schedule.
- During the discovery phase, the task force will conduct a process review to define the scope of the work, then proceed through an analysis phase before offering their "best practice" recommendations.
- Task force members can expect a time commitment of one to three hours per week over approximately two quarters to fully participate in the review activity.
Task Force Leads
I am pleased to announce the Accounts Receivable Process Alignment Task Force will be co-led by two members of the Process Alignment Workgroup (PAW):

Miranda and Tammy bring extensive combined experience within our college and ctcLink system, serving in process alignment subgroups, as well as project management skills.
Tanya Kerr, Clark College Internal Controls Business Analyst, will support the effort as Task Force Coordinator.
