Mass Delete Commitment Control Budget Journals
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for deleting budget journal(s) in batch in ctcLink.
Audience: Commitment Control staff.
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZZ CC Budget Entry
- ZZ CC Budget Processing
If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.
This is used to delete multiple budget journals in a Business Unit and Commitment Control ledger group that have not yet been posted.
Mass Delete Commitment Control Budget Journals
Navigation: Commitment Control > Budget Journal > Mass Delete Budget Journals
- The Mass Delete Commitment Control Budget Journals page displays. Use the Selection Criteria to refine your search results or to locate the journals you want to unpost. Enter valid field values:
- Business Unit (required).
- Ledger Group (required).
- Enter or select Journal ID(s) and/or Journal Date(s) to refine your selection criteria.
- Optional to utilize the ChartField Name and/or ChartField Value to refine selection criteria by field values.
- Select the Search button to display the journals that match your selection criteria.
Select the Show Jrnl (show journal) link to open the Enter Budget Journals or Enter Budget Transfer component, where you can view journal detail.
- The journal results display below. Select the Mark All (UnMark) buttons to select (deselect) all budget journals in the Journals grid.
- Select the Delete link to delete all budget journals marked for deletion.
- A message displays asking for confirmation of the delete action. Select the OK button.
In the Journals section, select the Journal Header name to sort by the Journal ID, Journal Date or Budget Header Status.
- Optional to select the Search button to verify the journals have been deleted.
- Process complete.
