Maintaining Project Activity Status
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for updating the status of a project activity in ctcLink.
Audience: College staff responsible for creating and managing projects.
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZZ Project Cost Entry-Maint
You must also set these User Preference Definitions:
If you need assistance with the above security roles or User Preference Definitions, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.
Maintaining Project Activity Status
Navigation: Project Costing > Activity Definitions > Update Activity Status
- The Status search page displays. Enter the search criteria to locate the project such as:
- Enter or lookup the Business Unit.
- Enter or lookup the Project ID. Optional to use additional search criteria to refine results.
- Select the Search button.
- The Status page displays. Use it to change the status of one or more project activities. Options available: Open, Pending and Closed.
- The Effective Date defaults to the current date. Optional to modify the date as needed.
- Enter or select the activity status in the Status field. Options available: Open, Pending and Closed.
- Enter Comments as needed.
- Select the Save button.
Note: Closed Activities can have no further transactions associated to them.
- Process complete.
