Maintaining Project Activity Status

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for updating the status of a project activity in ctcLink.

Audience: College staff responsible for creating and managing projects.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZZ Project Cost Entry-Maint

You must also set these User Preference Definitions:

If you need assistance with the above security roles or User Preference Definitions, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Maintaining Project Activity Status

Navigation: Project Costing > Activity Definitions > Update Activity Status

  1. The Status search page displays.  Enter the search criteria to locate the project such as:
    1. Enter or lookup the Business Unit.
    2. Enter or lookup the Project ID. Optional to use additional search criteria to refine results.
  2. Select the Search button.
  3. The Status page displays. Use it to change the status of one or more project activities. Options available: Open, Pending and Closed.
  4. The Effective Date defaults to the current date. Optional to modify the date as needed.
  5. Enter or select the activity status in the Status field. Options available: Open, Pending and Closed.
  6. Enter Comments as needed.
  7. Select the Save button.

Note: Closed Activities can have no further transactions associated to them.
