Reviewing the COD Credential Cross Reference Table

Purpose: Use this document as a reference on reviewing FA-eligible Academic Plans as part of Aid Year Rollover and when troubleshooting Pell and Loan validation error messages.

Audience: Financial Aid staff responsible for Aid Year Rollover and Federal Pell and Loan programs

Reviewing the COD Credential Cross Reference Table

Navigation: Set Up SACR > Product Related > Financial Aid > COD > COD Credential Cross Reference

  1. Enter the Academic Institution.
  2. Enter the Aid Year.
  3. Select the Search button.
  4. The varying Academic Plans on the Credential Level Cross Reference page display.

Note the Retrieve from Acad Plan button - this button will pull any existing Acad plan from the CS Core Set Up, including non-FA eligible programs. If new FA-approved plans need to be added, it is recommended to add them to this page manually.  

  1. Select the Forward button to review other available rows of Academic Plans.
  2. Optional - Select the Grid Icon to download an Excel list of the Academic Plans where the data can be sorted and filtered for review.

  1. If a newly approved FA-eligible Academic Plan needs to be added to this table, select the Add a New Row button +
  2. Define the Academic Career - UGRD.
  3. Define the Academic Program Type - BCHLR (Bachelor) or ACADM (Academic) or PRFTC (Professional Technical).
  4. Define the Academic Plan.
  5. Define the NSC Classification.
  6. Define the Credential Level.
  7. Select the Save button.
  8. Process complete.
