Understanding CampusCE OEE Registration Start Dates
Purpose: Provide background on Open Entry and Exit (OEE) classes start date logic when registrations are enrollments from CampusCE.
Audience: CampusCE Administrators
Open Entry and Exit (OEE) classes require a student start date. Because students can register for these courses at different times throughout the quarter (term), the start dates will vary depending on when the registration (enrollment) occurred.
As of August 2024, the CampusCE integration has been updated so OEE CampusCE orders flow to ctcLink and follow ctcLink OEE functional requirements. Specifically, the integration was updated so that OEE start dates fall between the college’s OEE session begin and end dates on the Term/Session Table.
OEE Logic Scenario 1: If the date of the CampusCE registration transaction occurs on or after the OEE class start date (transaction date is > OEE class start date), the transaction is loaded to ctcLink with the date the registration took place. Upon successful registration, the student’s registration transaction in ctcLink will reflect a start date equal to the day they registered.
OEE Logic Scenario 2: If the date of the CampusCE registration transaction occurs prior to the OEE class start date (transaction date is < OEE class start date), the transaction is submitted to ctcLink with OEE class start date. Upon successful registration, the student’s registration transaction in ctcLink will reflect a start date equal to the class start date.
Staff can see the View Enrollment Request link at the bottom of the CampusCE Transaction Mgmt page > ctcLink Response tab to view the student’s start date.
