Planner (HCX)
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for moving courses to a planner within the Mobile application.
Audience: Students.
The college mobile applications will look a bit different between the various colleges. This guide is intended as a general overview. Please note that your college may have different images and options available.
Planner
- After logging into HCX, select the Enrollment menu from the sidebar navigation.

- The Enrollment menu expands.
- Select the Planner menu item.

- The Planner page displays to the right.
- Select the Add Course button.

- The Course Catalog page displays.
- Choose a subject and select the View Courses button.
- The ACCT& subject page displays with all related courses.
- Choose a course and select the Add to Planner button.

- Select the Planner menu item again to refresh the page and view the added course.
- Notice it is in an Unassigned status.
- Select the checkbox next to the course.
- Select the Move Selected button.
- A Move Selected Courses pop-up window displays.
- Choose a term from the Move To: drop-down menu.
- Select the Move button.

- A pop-up window confirms the move. This window will automatically close.
- The Planner page is updated and displays the new term that the course was moved to.
- Select the checkbox next to the course.
- Select the Add to Cart button.

- The Add to Cart page displays available classes for this course. Select one of the scheduled class sections. From here you can add to the cart by two methods:
- Select the Additional Actions icon located on the right side of the row (three vertical dots) and select the Add to Cart menu item, or
- Select the course row to expand and open the Class Information details. Scroll down near the bottom and select the Add to Cart button.

- A confirmation message displays confirming the class is now in the shopping cart.
- The Enrollment options pop-up window displays.
- Select the Save button.

- A confirmation pop-up message will display and automatically close.
- Select the Shopping Cart from the left sidebar navigation.
- The Shopping Cart now displays the newly added class.

- You have successfully viewed the Planner, added a course to it and moved it to the Shopping Cart.
- Process complete.
