Enroll in Classes (HCX)

Purpose:  Use as a reference for how to enroll in classes using the Mobile application.

Audience:  Students.

The college mobile applications will look a bit different between the various colleges, this guide is intended as a general overview, please note that your college may have different images and options available.

This QRG assumes student is fully admitted and able to enroll for classes.

Enroll in Classes

  1. On the Mobile (HCX) Springboard page, select the ctcLink Login tile.  
  2. The ctcLink Login page displays.
  3. Enter your ctcLink ID.
  4. Enter your Password.
  5. Select the Sign In button. The Okta Account section of the ctcLink Reference Center provides helpful information on accessing your ctcLink account.
  6. Select Enrollment from the sidebar navigation.
  7. It expands to display further menu choices.  
  8. To enroll in a class, you can select from Planner or Shopping Cart if items were previously chosen and saved here.
Shopping Cart
  1. If doing a new search, you can also look for a class by selecting the Class Information menu and selecting:
    1. Class Search (example below)
    2. Course Catalog
    3. Browse Classes
  2. Select the Class Search menu item.
  3. The Class Search page displays.
  4. Enter your search criteria.
  5. Select the Search button.  
  6. The search results display.
  7. The available sections for this class display.  
  8. Select the class row to expand.
  9. The class details display.
  10. Choose the Enroll, Add to Cart, or Add to Planner button located at the bottom-right side of the page.  ðŸ“¢ Important: Decide whether you want to Enroll in the class now or add it to your Shopping Cart or Planner to continue searching for additional classes before enrolling.

Optional Actions

Enroll

  1. If you are ready to register for the class, select Enroll.
  2. The Enrollment options pop-up window displays.
  3. Select the Save button.
  4. The Enrollment Results pop-up window displays.
  5. Click OK

Add to Cart

  1. If you want to continue searching for additional classes before enrolling, select Add To Cart.
  2. The class is added to your Shopping Cart, where you can review and enroll in one or more classes later.
  3. The Enrollment options pop-up window displays.
  4. Select the Save button.
  5. A message displays, "Successfully added class to the cart."

Add to Planner

  1. If you are planning your schedule but are not ready to enroll, select Add To Planner.
  2. The class is saved to your Planner for future reference and does not register you for the class.
  3. A message displays, "The course has been added to your planner."
