9.2 Copy Existing Travel Authorization

Purpose:   Use this document as a reference on how to copy an existing travel authorization using ctcLink.

Audience:   Employees.

Note: You can only copy an existing Travel Authorization if it's for the same employee.

Copy an Existing Travel Authorization

Navigation:  NavBar > Navigator > Employee Self Service > Travel & Expenses > Travel Authorization > Create/Modify

  1. The Travel Authorization search page displays.
  2. Select the Add a New Value tab.
  3. Enter the appropriate EMPL ID.
  4. Select Add.

  1. The Create Travel Authorization page displays.
  2. Select the Quick Start drop-down menu and select An Existing Authorization.
  3. Select the Go button.

  1. The Copy from an Existing Travel Authorization page displays with results.
  2. Select the travel authorization to be copied.

  1. The Create Travel Authorization page displays.
  2. All fields from previous Travel Authorization have now been copied.
  3. Update fields as necessary, paying close attention to dates and accounting details.

  1. Select the Summary and Submit if ready to submit (or select Save for Later if not ready to submit).

Note:  Use the Attachments hyperlink to add necessary documents.

  1. The Summary and Submit page displays.
  2. Select the 'By checking this box, I certify these costs are reasonable estimates and comply with expense policy'.
  3. Select the Submit Travel Authorization button.

Review the summary page as necessary. Toggle back and forth from the Summary and Submit page and the Travel Authorization Details page by selecting the hyperlink in the top right corner of the screen.

  1. The Travel Auth Submit Confirm window opens.
  2. Select OK.
