Adding a Subject or Component to an Existing FWL Contract Configuration

Purpose: This document is provided for reference/information only.

Changes to calculation configurations are presently addressed by FWL Customer Support.

Audience: FWL Customer Support

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZC FWL Maintain Config
  • ZD FWL View Config

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Add a Subject or Component to an Existing FWL Contract Configuration

Navigation:  Set Up SACR > Product Related > Student Records > Curriculum Management > CTC Custom > Faculty Workload > FWL Calculation Configuration > FWL Calculation Configuration

  1. The FWL Calculation Config search page displays.
  2. In the Search Criteria enter the following:
    • Academic Institution: Enter the institution code (e.g. WA020) or use the Look Up.
    • Term: Enter the Term to be 'copied from' (e.g. 2173) or use the Look Up.
  3. Select Search to return all Contract Type values.
  4. The Search Results display.
  5. Select the Contract Type to be changed.
  6. The FWL Calculation Configuration page displays.
  7. Use the + symbol (plus symbol located to the right of Calculation Configuration section) to add the new subject to the contract.
  8. A new row is added.  Complete blank fields.
  9. Select the Save button.
