Identify and Calculate Absence Entitlements
Purpose: Use this document to identify and calculate absence entitlements in ctcLink.
Audience: HR specialists.
You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:
- ZZ Abs Off Cycle Processing
- ZZ SS ABS Administration
If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.
Identify and Calculate Absence Entitlements
NOTE: Colleges will need to validate information, SBCTC executes.
Navigation: Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Absence and Payroll
- The Calculate Absence and Payroll search page displays.
- Use the Find an Existing Value tab for a known value OR, on the Add a New Value tab, enter the Run Control ID.
- Select the Add button.
- The Calculate Absence and Payroll page displays. Enter the appropriate Calendar Group ID from the look up menu.
- Check the Identify, Calculate and Suspend Active check boxes in the Processing Phases and Options section.
- If you want to run the Absence process in Debug Mode, select the Debug and Tuning Options link.
- The Debug and Performance Controls page displays.
- Make applicable adjustments. Select the OK button.
- The Calculate Absence and Payroll page displays.
- Select the Run button. The Process Scheduler Request page will display. Select the OK button.
- The Calculate Absence and Payroll page displays. Make note of the Process Instance number.
- Select the Process Monitor page and monitor the status until it shows Success and Posted.
