9.2 Performing Budget Inquiries

Purpose:  Run the budget inquiry process in ctcLink.

Audience:  Finance/Grant Fiscal Staff.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZC Awards Processing
  • ZZ Awards Processing

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

After you successfully post the budget journals, you can inquire on the budget.

Performing Budget Inquiries

Navigation:  NavBar > Navigator > Grants > Awards >Project Budget Inquiry

  1. The Project Budget Inquiry search page displays.
  2. Enter the desired information into the Business Unit field.
  3. Enter the desired information into the Project field.
  4. Select the Search button.  The Budget Inquiry page will display.

  1. On the Budget Inquiry page, select each of the following tabs to review the information:
    • Budget Lines
    • GL Info
    • & Posted, FA, C/S Info

  1. The process to perform a budget analysis inquiry is now complete.
  2. End of procedure.
