User Acceptance Test Overview
The Academic Standing process is used to assign standing actions to students in batch. Please note that assigning Academic Standing does not apply holds to the student's account. Service Indicators must be applied as a separate step, if desired.
The information below is intended to provide colleges guidance on performing a User Acceptance Test on this business process. The business process shown in the flow diagrams below may be only part of what is needed to complete an end-to-end test of a full business cycle. Coordination with other colleagues at your college in advance of commencing testing is key to success. In the same way that it doesn't take a single individual to operate the business of running a college it will require coordination across departments to successfully test a business flow from beginning to end.

Background Configuration Information:
The Academic Standing rule is configured at Set Up SACR > Product Related > Student Records > Standing and Honors > Academic Standing Rule
Minimum Test Case (Data) Scenarios:
- Run the batch Academic Standing process for Winter 2021, the last quarter with converted grade
- Run query CTC_SR_ACAD_STANDING to identify students. Also, we can use the last cycle validation files to identify students.
Recommended Error Test Conditions:

Error Condition: Attempt to run the batch process for a quarter for which grades have not yet been posted.
- Expected Behavior: No updates will occur.
