Comments - 3C Groups

Purpose:  This page assigns the comments to the 3C group for security.

Audience:  Campus Solutions staff

You must have at least one of these local college-managed security roles:

  • ZC CC 3Cs Config
  • ZD CC 3Cs Config
  • ZZ CC 3Cs Config

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

You must also set the following SACR Security permissions:

Comments - 3C Groups

3C Group Security grants access to Comments. 3C Groups are part of a row-level security that is assigned to a specific user. Users will have access to all the Comments assigned to a 3C Group. View the SACR Security: 3Cs Group Security QRG for more information about 3Cs Group Security.

Navigation: Comments > Set Up Comments > Comment 3C Groups

  1. The Comments 3C Groups search criteria page displays.      
  2. The default option is Find an Existing Value.
  3. Enter or look up the Academic Institution.
  4. Enter Comment Category.
  5. Select Search.
  6. The Comment 3C Group page displays.
  7. Select the Add a New Row [+] button on the right side of the screen to add a new Update/Inquiry Group.
  8. Select the Delete Row [-] button to remove an existing group.
  9. Select Save.
  10. Process complete.

The following 3C Groups are available for assignment to Comment Categories:

3C Update/Inquiry Group Description
Admissions 3C Group
ENRL Enrollment 3C Group
FASU FA Super User
FAVO FA View Only
FAVU FA View Update
SFCO Student Financials Coll 3C Grp
STRM Student Term
