Delete a Comment - Person Summary

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for how to delete a comment within person summary in ctcLink.

Audience: Campus Community staff

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZC CC 3Cs Config
  • ZD CC 3Cs Config
  • ZD CC Super user
  • ZZ CC 3Cs Config

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

You must also set the following SACR Security permissions:

Delete a Comment - Person Summary

Navigation: Campus Community > Comments > Comments-Person > Person Comment Summary

  1. The Person Comment Summary search page displays.
  2. Enter ID.
  3. Select Search.
  4. The Comment Summary tab displays.
  5. For all comments, leave Function blank; otherwise, enter Function.
  6. Select Fetch.
  7. The Search Results section of the page populates.
  8. Select the Delete Comment icon alongside your comment.
  9. A Delete Confirmation window displays. "Delete current/elected rows from this page? The delete will occur when the transaction is saved."
  10. Select OK.
  11. The Delete Confirmation window disappears.
  12. An "are you sure?" confirmation window displays. "This will delete the Comment. Are you sure?"
  13. Select OK.
  14. The "are you sure?" confirmation window disappears.
  15. The comment disappears from the Search Results section of the page.
  16. Select Save.
  17. Process complete.
