9.2 Performing a Budget Inquiry

Purpose: Use this document as a reference for performing a budget inquiry in ctcLink.

Audience: Finance/Grant Fiscal Staff.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZC Awards Processing
  • ZZ Awards Processing

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Performing a Budget Inquiry

Navigation: NavBar > Navigator > Grants > Awards > Project Budget Inquiry

  1. On the Project Budget Inquiry search page, enter or select the Business Unit.
  2. Enter or select the project number of the project in the Project field.
  3. Select Search and select the Project from the search results.  The Copy Proposal page will display.
Find an Existing Value tab
  1. Use the Budget Inquiry page to view budget information for specific projects.
  2. Review the information available on the Budget Lines tab.
  3. Select the GL Info tab.

  1. Continue to use the Budget Inquiry page to view budget information for specific projects.
  2. Review the information available on the GL Info tab.
  3. Select the Posted, FA, C/S Info tab.

  1. Review the information available on the Posted, FA, C/S Info tab.

  1. Process complete.
