How to Create a "To Do" Task in 25Live Pro
Purpose: Creating To Do's are a great way to set-up reminders for an event. They show up in your workflow but they also can be sent by email to notify users.
Audience: All 25Live users
- Log into your 25Live Pro user URL.
- You can set-up a To Do for an existing event or a new event:
- Locate and Open Event
- Click on "More Actions"
- Scroll down to the Create Task
- The Create "To Do" Task will ask for a name of your task. It will also ask you for a due date and who the task was assigned to and by whom.
- When reviewing your tasks from the Task List, you will see a list of tasks and who they are assigned to. Both the assignor and recipient should receive a task.
- In addition, you may need to ask your system admin to turn on the email notification function for To Do's so the recipient receives an email reminder when the task is due and both the set-up of the To Do as well as the email sent will both appear in the audit trail. Please see QRG "Setting up Email Notifications."

Hi there,
Can you also explain how to mark one as completed, as well as how to delete one if it's not ever acted upon?
Thank you,
Kirk Knittle
When a "To Do" is set-up, it will create a task for the recipient of the "To Do." If you have the email functionality enabled, it could also send them an email notification. To remove the task (we try not to delete anything), the recipient must log into 25Live and acknowledge the task. This "To Do" will always be associated with this event so when you copy the event, you will also copy the "To Do" and everything else associated with the event (i.e. location, resources, attached files, etc.).
