Part-Time Faculty Salary Base Calculation Report and ABBR Rates Updates

Purpose:  Run the salary base calculation report in ctcLink and update ABBR rates.

Audience: Benefits Administrator.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZD Benefits Reporting

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Part-Time Faculty Salary Base Calculation Report

Navigation:   Benefits > CTC Custom > PTF LTD Report

  1. The PTF LTD Salary Base Calc run control search page displays.
  2. Select the Add a New Value tab and enter a new Run Control ID if this is the first time ever running this report. Otherwise, enter the existing Run Control ID.
  3. Select the Add or Search button.

  1. The PTF LTD Salary Base Calculation Report page displays.
  2. Enter the Company.
  3. Enter the As Of Date.
  4. Select one of the following report options (only one type of report can be run at a time):
    • All Active PTF
    • Active PTF with Opt LTD
    • EMPL ID(s) 
  5. Select the Run button.

  1. The Process Scheduler Request page displays. Select the OK button.
  2. Select the Process Monitor link.
  3. The Process List tab displays.
  4. Select the Refresh button until the Run Status is 'Success' and Distribution Status is 'Posted'.
  5. Select the Details link.

  1. The Process Detail page displays.
  2. Select the View Log/Trace link.
  3. The View Log/Trace page displays.
  4. Select the first CTC_PTFLDAE.csv file to view part-time faculty’s quarterly and monthly wages for the prior four quarters.

  1. Next select CTC_PTFLTDAE_ANNUAL.csv file to validate calculated total and annualized salary amounts for each employee.

Annual Base Rate (ABBR) Update

Navigation:   Benefits > CTC Custom > PTF LTD Report

  1. Once calculated annualized salaries have been validated, return to PTF LTD Salary Base Calculation Report’s parameters page and check the Update ABBR box.
  2. Select the Run button.

  1. Select the Process Monitor link.
  2. The Process List tab displays.
  3. Select the Refresh button until the Run Status is 'Success' and Distribution Status is 'Posted'.
  4. Select the Details link.
  5. The Process Detail page displays.
  6. Select the View Log/Trace link.
  7. The View Log/Trace page displays.
  8. Select the first PTF_LTD_Report_Log_.log to view processed part-time faculty ABBR rate updates in Update ABBR’s page.
