OAAP Password Recovery

Purpose: Use this guide to reset your Online Admissions Application Portal password via email or mobile number.

Audience: Students

Applicants and students can use OAAP to reset their passwords by requesting a verification using a verified email address, phone number via text message, or voice call.

Email Address

  1. Navigate to https://apply.ctc.edu/user.
  2. Click the Existing Users Login button.
  3. Enter the Username you created when creating your account.
  4. Complete the reCAPTCHA.
  5. Click the Log in button.
  6. You will be automatically re-directed to the ctcLink Okta log-in page. Your Username will pre-populate in the ctcLink ID field. Click the Next button.
  7. Click the “Forgot password?” link.
  8. Click on the Email security method.
  9. Click the “Send me an email” button.
  10. You will receive a password reset email. Click on the “Reset Password” button in the email or enter the verification code into your browser using the “Enter a verification code instead” button.
  11. Establish a new password and click the Reset Password button.

Mobile Number

  1. Navigate to https://apply.ctc.edu/user.
  2. Click the Existing Users Login button.
  3. Enter the Username you created when creating your account.
  4. Complete the reCAPTCHA.
  5. Click the Log in button.
  6. You will be automatically re-directed to the ctcLink Okta log-in page. Your Username will pre-populate in the ctcLink ID field. Click the Next button. button.
  7. Click the “Forgot password?” link.
  8. Click on the Phone security method.
  9. Click either the “Receive a code via SMS” or “Receive a voice call instead” button.
  10. You will receive a text message or voice call. Enter the verification code that you received via text or voice call and click the “Verify” button.
  11. Establish a new password and click the Reset Password button.
