9.2 Viewing Item Activity Summary

Purpose:  To view a summary of item activity using ctcLink.

Audience:  Accounts Receivable staff.

ctcLink enables you to view a single-line summary of each item-related activity. Each time you perform an action on an item, the Receivables Update process updates the Item Activity table. These actions can be transferring the item to another customer, applying a payment to the item, or unposting it. The system sorts the item activities by:

  • business unit,
  • customer ID,
  • accounting date,
  • and entry type.

Consider this scenario: You have received partial payment for an item from your customer.

In this topic, you will view the item activity summary.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZC AR Customer Maintenance
  • ZD AR Inquiry
  • ZZ AR Customer Maintenance

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Viewing Item Activity Summary

Navigation: NavBar > Navigator > Accounts Receivable > Customer Accounts > Item Information > Item Activity Summary

  1. On the Item Activity Summary search page, enter or look up the Business Unit.
  2. Enter or look up the Customer ID.
  3. Enter or look up the Item ID field.
  4. Select Search. The Item Activity Summary page will display.
