Printing a Requisition

Purpose:  Use this document as a reference how to print a single requisition and/or print multiple requisitions in ctcLink.

Audience:  Finance/Purchasing staff.

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZZ Requisition Entry

You must also set these User Preference Definitions:

If you need assistance with the above security roles or User Preference Definitions, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Printing a Requisition from the Add/Update Screen

Navigation: Purchasing > Requisitions > Add/Update Requisitions

  1. Once the Requisitions search page displays, select the Find an Existing Value tab.
  2. Enter the desired criteria (i.e. Business Unit, Req ID, Status, Requester), then select the Search button.
  3. Select the appropriate requisition from the available Search Results.
  4. Once the Maintain Requisitions page displays, select the View Printable Version hyperlink located at the bottom of the page to initiate the print process.
    • If a pop-up message about the inability to connect to the RenServer displays, select the OK button to move forward.

Note: After the Print process completes, the Requisition pdf will display. Skip to Step 9 to see an example of .

If a PDF does not display, please continue following Steps 5 - 8.

  1. Once the Process List tab displays, select the Refresh button until the Run Status reads "Success" and Distribution Status reads "Posted". For more information, please see QRG Process Scheduler/Process Monitor.
  2. Select the Report Manager link. Once the Report Manager page displays, select the Administration tab.
  3. In the Description column, select the Requisition Print SQR hyperlink.
  4. The Requisition pdf will open in another window. Download or print out as needed.

Printing Single or Multiple Requisitions

You must have at least one of these local college managed security roles:

  • ZZ Purchasing Reporting

If you need assistance with the above security roles, please contact your local college supervisor or IT Admin to request role access.

Navigation: Purchasing > Requisitions > Reports > Print Requisition

  1. The Requisition Print page displays.
  2. If you have run this process or report in the past, select the Find an Existing Value tab to enter an existing Run Control ID and select the Search button. If this is the first time running this process or report, select the Add a New Value tab to create a new Run Control ID and select the Add button. 
    • NOTE: It is important to note that Run Control IDs cannot be deleted. Do not include spaces in your Run Control. We encourage the Run Control ID to have the same process naming convention but unique to the step; because of this, including your institution code and a short process description in the Run Control ID is recommended--e.g., WA220_PRINT_REQ (Requisition Print).
  3. The Print Requisition Run Control page displays. Enter the Business Unit.
  4. Optional to add additional Report Request Parameters such as:
    • Requisition ID.
    • Select multiple Requisitions using a range: From Date and Through Date.
    • Enter or lookup a specific Requester.
  5. Select the 'Status' in the Statuses to Include section (i.e. to print out pending requisitions, select the checkbox next to 'Pending').
  6. Select the Run button.

  1. The Process Scheduler Request window opens, the checkbox for Requisition Print SQR is checked automatically. Select the OK button.
  2. After the Process Scheduler Request window disappears, select the Process Monitor link. Once the Process List tab displays, select the Refresh button until the Run Status reads "Success" and Distribution Status reads "Posted". For more information, please see QRG Process Scheduler/Process Monitor.
  3. Select the Report Manager link. On the Report Manager page select the Administration tab. In the Description column, select the 'Requisition Print SQR' hyperlink. The Requisition pdf will open in another window. Download or print out as needed.
