9.2 ESS Add Update Emergency Contact Information (Fluid)
Purpose: Use this document as a reference for updating emergency contact information in ctcLink.
Audience: Employees.
Add and Update Emergency Contact Information
Navigation: Employee Self Service (Homepage) > Personal Details (Tile)
- The Personal Details page displays.
- Select the Emergency Contacts heading on the sidebar.
- The Emergency Contacts page displays.
- Select [+] to enter a new contact.
- The Emergency Contact pagelet displays.
- Enter the Contact Name.
- Select the Relationship from the drop-down menu.
- Select the Preferred button (only if this is the preferred method of contact by phone).
- Select the Add Address button.

- The Address pagelet displays.
- Select the Same as mine checkbox if address of contact is the same.
- If address of contact is not the same, enter address information (optional).
- Select the Done button.

- The Emergency Contact pagelet displays.
- Select the Add Phone Number button.

- The Phone Number pagelet displays.
- Select the Same as mine checkbox if phone number of contact is the same.
- Select the Type from the drop-down menu.
- If Phone Number of contact is not the same, enter the new Phone Number.
- Select the Done button.

- The Emergency Contacts pagelet displays with the new emergency contact.
- Select the Save button.

- The Emergency Contacts homepage displays.
- The new contact is added.

- The process to add a new emergency contact is now complete.
- From the Personal Details, select the Emergency Contacts heading on the sidebar.
- The Emergency Contacts homepage displays.
- Select the existing Contact Name to update.
- The Emergency Contact pagelet displays.
- Select a new Relationship option from the drop-down menu, if applicable.
- Select the Preferred button (only if this is the preferred method of contact by phone).
- Select the existing Address [>] row to update.

- The Address pagelet displays.
- Make applicable changes.
- Select the Done button.

- The Emergency Contact pagelet displays with updated information.
- Select the add [+] button in the Phone Numbers section to enter an additional Phone Number, if applicable.
- Select the existing phone number to be updated.

- The Phone Number pagelet displays.
- Select a new Type from the drop-down menu, if applicable.
- Update the Number if applicable.
- Select the Done button.

- The Emergency Contact pagelet displays.
- Select the Save button.

- The Emergency Contacts homepage displays.
- The process to update an emergency contact is now complete.
- From the Personal Details, select the Emergency Contacts heading on the sidebar.
- The Emergency Contacts homepage displays.
- Select the existing Contact Name to delete.
- The Emergency Contact pagelet displays.
- Select the Delete button.

- A message displays to confirm deletion.
- Select the Yes button.

- The Emergency Contacts homepage displays.

- To process to delete an emergency contact is now complete.
- End of procedures.
