ESS Add Update Ethnicity (Fluid)

Purpose:  Use this document as a reference to add or update employee ethnicity in ctcLink.

Audience:  Employees

Navigation:  HCM Employee Self Service > Personal Details (Tile) > Ethnic Groups (Tile)

Add/Update Ethnicity

Add Ethnic Group
  1. The Ethnic Groups page displays
  2. Select the add [+] button to add an Ethnic Group.
  3. The Ethnic Group pagelet displays.
  4. Select the appropriate Ethnic Group from the lookup (magnifying glass).
    NOTE: By default, the first 300 rows are displayed. For additional search capabilities, expand the Search Criteria at the top of the Lookup page. Then Ethnic Group and/or Description fields are available.
  5. Select the Save button. Once saved the Ethnic Groups homepage displays with the added ethnicity.

The process is complete.

Update Ethnicity
  1. From the Ethnic Groups page, select an existing Ethnic Group.
  2. The Ethnic Group pagelet displays.
  3. Select the lookup icon (magnifying glass).
  4. The Lookup pagelet displays.
  5. Select the appropriate Ethnic Group.
  6. Select the Save button.
  7. The Ethnic Groups homepage displays with updated ethnicity.

The process to update the ethnicity is now complete.

Delete Ethnicity
  1. From the Ethnic Groups page, select an existing Ethnic Group that you want to delete.
  2. The Ethnic Group pagelet displays.
  3. Select the Delete button.
  4. A confirmation message displays.
  5. Select the Yes button.

The process to delete an ethnic group is now complete.
